Dragon Supercharger Systems Introduces the 1000R supercharger system for the 1997+ C5 and C6 Corvettes
Dragon
Race Engineering in a partnership with Whipple Superchargers has introduced what
is most likely the most powerful supercharger system available for the C6
Corvette to date. Utilizing a 200 cubic inch screw style supercharger (as
opposed the 112 and 142 cubic inch blowers on competing systems), this system is
capable of up to 1000 engine horsepower and comes with all the parts necessary
to make up to 600 engine hp on a bone stock C6
(utilizing 6psi of boost). The
incredibly flat torque curve of the 200 cubic inch screw supercharger
ensures that this kit makes more power under the curve than any competing
supercharger or turbocharger system yet. Utilizing a super efficient
intercooler, this system offers the coolest air charge temperatures.
Kits
range in price from $6500 (Bare Bones Non Intercooled) to $8495 for Polished or
Color Matched C5 Systems. For those
wanting to push the envelope, 8 rib drive
systems, larger intakes, custom colors, and other upgrades are available to
realize the full 1000hp potential of this system and match your vehicle.
The supercharger system is a complete bolt on system and includes a either a
battery relocation to mount your battery in the rear of the car or a custom
Odyssey battery for filter clearance in the front of the vehicle.
The best part of the system – No required
hood changes it bolts on under the factory hood or any aftermarket hood…now you
